Rhonda has been studying piano since the age of five and ever since she has demonstrated great enthusiasm toward the instrument. Rhonda’s principal forte is her dexterity in playing exceptionally fast passages with clean articulation. Having developed strong technical abilities from an early age, presented her with the opportunity of performing a long list of repertoire including some of the most difficult sonatas.

She continued her music education until the age of 18 in Taiwan. Thereafter, she continued her studies in the United States attending Pasadena City College, studying under Dr. Cynthia B. Williams, obtaining her Associate degree in Arts in piano performance.  Furthermore, she continued her education at California State University of Northridge.  Under the guidance of her devoted and caring mentor Dr. Dmitry Rachmanov, she obtained a BM (Bachelor’s degree in Music) in classical piano performance, with emphasis in piano pedagogy.

As a piano accompanist, she has accompanied numerous violinists, woodwinds (solo/chamber) along with different choirs and solo vocalists. She also has performed piano duets in different venues. As an instructor, Rhonda has been teaching piano and providing private lessons since 2003. She emphasizes technique, musicianship and theory as the basis of her lessons. She also trains her students to participate in as many recitals as possible. Additionally, she encourages her students to gain stage experience starting at age four, preparing and disciplining them for future achievements as musicians.
